Three things that make life worth living:SlingerlandsRoto-tomsBev Bevan

Brothers from another mother!

I wanted Slingerlands because of Bev and "A New World Record."

Someone posted on CL today that they're starting an ELO tribute band. I want to audition. No matter who winds up drumming, I suggest he call it the Electric Lite Orchestra.

I still have mine, and kind of like them. Put new heads on last year, but haven't had a gig that would suit them yet.

I have pinched the flesh between thumb and forefinger uncranking them from the nasty black bar more times than I can count.

You should definitely audition!

I totally want to do an ELO tribute band. It's just a question of whether it would go over in the Chicago area. I'm seriously considering it. There's one in Minneapolis who call themselves "E.L.nO."
