Here are the pictures of the shells.

There is some holes in the shells i need to find out what parts will plug them.

If anyone knows please help. I would like to keep the org wrap.

I am pretty sure this kit is a 1967 Ludwig Super Classic Drum. I seen these going for 4,000.00 on Ebay

I have never seen a Super Classic go for $4000. I have seen sellers on fishing expeditions, though. You need to remove the dollar signs from your eyes and come down to earth. Again, the shells would be great as a studio player kit, but with the holes, and the wear on the edges and lack of original badges and parts, this is the best possible use for them. Or, just part them out. Good luck.

From Lespaulman67

Right, and how many bids did it get?

...and the mod orange kit is an extremely rare example in museum condition. And who knows how long it's been listed at that price? Your gold sparkle example:

1. was one of the most common finishes

2. has extra holes

3. has original holes plugged

3. has glue residue all over it

4. has no badges

5. is missing at least one original bass drum hoop

6. has rust/pitting on hardware

Please come back down to Earth for us? With a lot of elbow grease and some TLC, you could make yourself a great-sounding players' kit. A collector would not even touch this. A restorer might give $150 for them.

If that's the case I have a two super classic kits I'll sale you $4000.00 sounds like a great number to me, and they are as nice as Bills are that you used as an example!, except they aren't in citrus mod, also as Pounder has tried and tried to TELL You this kit you have is a Players kit Nothing More It has more holes in than swiss cheese! do as He has suggested over and over use the kit as a studio kit or a kit to gig with it Is Not Very Collectable! From your user name I take it your a 1967 les paul owner!A guitar player not a Drummer, the advice you've been given Is on the money!!FYIViolin

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

Cool, best of luck on the project! There are plenty of threads on here about doweling holes, removing glue, polishing, etc. that should help you get them up and running. We love to see them 'ol drums saved and brought back and rescued from whatever they thought was good for them in 1982! Keep on Pl

Take off all the hard ware, lugs brackets etc...... polish em all and grade them . I grade mine from 1-4 4 being the worst shape. Put the best lugs n the kit your keeping. put the worst lugs of them on the bottom of the bass drum and bottom of the floor tom. I believe you could have a complete kit out of this that you would be proud of. After you do all this polishing and adhesive removal you wont want to sell them. You will have this awesome feeling that cant be bought. I promise ya!!!

BTW the irony of your handle, "Lespaulman67" isn't lost on me.. Did you know that in some ways, vintage guitars are much "easier" to pinpoint values on than their drum counterparts are? There's no such thing as a '67 Les Paul..
