I agree with poppy and jaye. You could put together a very cool three piece, just use the money from parting out the other drums for wrap. It is a labor of love though, so make them how you want them and play em!

What is the cheapest wrap people been using? Is it the vinyl stuff that's going around on Ebay. I tried it before and had problems with it wrinkling around the lugs bad.

He basically reproduced the insides from a vdrum and placed them inside an acoustic drum. Note the cone on top.

All the drums have cross bar setup with Roland type cones and triggers. I record this kit through Reaper software and use Superior Drummer 2.2 sounds

The wire is hooked to a 1/4 jack and it runs to the Roland module. Then you run midi out of the module to computer software.

The "Wrap your drums for 59.99 on ebay is not real drum wrap. its contact paper. You can get real drum wrap from many different sources. Precision drum, jammin sams, drummaker, drum foundry and otheres. Just google drum wrap. Most of these companies have specials. The thing about it is this. A bargian will cost you around 200 and the most popular will cost around 300. The job is pretty time consuming and you want a cool kit. Its worth the extra 100 to end up with something double cool.
