I have s 5×14 sea green slingerland fancher model snare drum made of Walnut 10 lug hoops i think its a 3 point strainer on it and it has screws around the rim with some type of brass ring that sits right under the head i really would like to know the value of it? Can you help me?

If your thinking about selling please let me know!! Brass ring sounds like the "Tone Flange" that Slingerland used. Super cool drum.

Here are some pics as you see I was cleaning it and some told me to stop I use cymbal cleaner on it and stopped when I was told it could be of value

If you have no experience cleaning these and plan to sell it, leave it to the buyer or you will harm the value.

That's a fancher model! That dates it to around 1928 - 1933. I'd easily place a value of around $800 ( likely a little higher ). That drums looks to be in amazing condition. From the photos you posted I see absolutely no issues.

Its in good condition I believe it was good enough to play on at 2 gigs and a friend of mine asked wat kind it was and when I showed him the look on his face was priceless he told me to hurry and put it in my snare bag stop playing on it lol I never would've knew anything if hadn't said that
