Was thinking about turning this into a Jazz Festival, but from the replies I dont think its worth it. Is this a Super Classic? BTW, the shell depth is 5.5". Also, is this a good price?

I don't think it's the deal of the century, but not a bad price in my opinion. I agree with the others that if you buy it, you should play as is...do not convert to Jazzfest...no need to ruin a perfectly great drum.

Guitar Center used snares are notoriously way overpriced in my opinion. Their used drum kits are more in line with market price, maybe a bit more but nothing outrageous.
