Yep, for the most part. You do see some Acrolites with a small knob, they are different than the original small knob mufflers though. The marching snares also retained the round knobs throughout the period.

You're right. Don't see too many of them. Pretty neat strainers. Ludwig using up odds and ends instead of letting them go to waste. I've got a '61 Galaxy Pioneer that has one. And I have a '60 Transition Badge duco Pioneer with that 3 point version.Mike

It sold on ebay to a collector in the USA. Name and amount cant mention but thanks for the help as it always help me to get the right price with the right buyer mainly collectors i sell toooooo.

I have that throw off on one of my Pioneers only it's stamped "Ludwig". I don't recall the age of this drum off the top of my head but I think it's from 1962 or 63.
