The Wrecking Crew Doc.

Anyone else see this documentary? I went to today. It's only showing at one theatre in Grand Rapids at this point. I'm probably lucky it was here at all. I guess you can get t off iTunes and other online sources as well.

I really like rock n roll bios and documentaries so I did enjoy this quite a bit.

I saw it here in Los Angeles at the the LA screening at the Grammy Museum and it was super cool . A great documentary that I recommend to anyone into music and music history . Here they had a Q&A after the screening that was really cool too . Hal Blaine was in rare form that night and kept the whole audience in stitches .

Warning ... Avoid member statuscymbal here, vintage_collector on DFO , and americanpatriot10 on eBay. Email me for his name. All are the same shady guy who has burned me and a list of other members on both boards . He is also selling on Facebook too ..

Yes, it was shown here in Palm Desert last year. Hal Blaine and crew were here also. Great evening of memories.

I saw this a year ago...my brother got a copy somehow. It is truly a great documentary. I would also suggest viewing 'Mussel Shoals' about the legendary studios down in Alabama and also 'Standing In The Shadows of Motown'. Both of these are great! I know Muscle Shoals is on Netflix, but not sure if the other is or not.

Loved it! The fact that some of these bands never even set foot in studio for their own albums really takes the heat off of auto-tune use IMHO - hey at least you showed up! :)

Did the Crew playing on many or any Bacharach/David songs of Dionne Warwick? Always wondered who got the majority of the calls for drumming.

Bacharach worked out of New York into the 70's. Gary Chester's name turns up here and there.

Thanks Aaron for the Muscle Shoals film on netflix. I watched it tonight and thought it was fascinating. Who knew the Stones recorded some of their best stuff in Alabama. And the whole Alleman Brothers story was just super interesting to say the least. This is a must see film!

Thank you!
