It doesn't surprise me, the question is, would you rather be in the top richest or the top greatest list? I don't see one drummer on that list that I consider one of the "greats". That being said, I love Ringo for obvious reasons and Max Weinberg because of his big band playing, he has some great chops.

+1 to rastus in both accounts... He was one of the top notch financial management musicians and maybe the only drummer to have that ability in the business of the 60`s world of Rock & Roll, not to mention his simple but powerful playing...he could drive a band like nobody`s business.

And as I once recall, that many moons ago, there was a person who once asked Buddy Rich what he thought of Ringo Starr as a Drummer? And I believe Buddy's reply was "He's adequate".
