That could be a little awkward communicating, (let alone taking, and sending pics) if you're there checking them out. Your best bet is to do a bit of research beforehand so you know what to look for, i.e. check shells for horizontal wood grain, or granitone, and check for signs of shell scarring around grommet inside shell, (though if it's a re-wrap that'd be moot). Make sure lugs are Ludwig, and again check inside for re-drilling.. and like that. Best test though; play dem suckers! If they sound great, then you'll be getting a good deal I would think.
