Yes, a pizzaria and drum museum! Drumzzaria? Man, I need help....DOH

You had me at Pizza! Cooper's famous brick oven pizza & drum joint. It might get a bit messy though, you don't want pizza sauce on those old Slingerlands. Probably best to put signs up everywhere saying "No Touchy"

In all seriousness though, it would be awesome! And as it's a museum, maybe somebody could walk in with a Black Beauty to donate. I would donate my Slingy Krupa model sticks to get the ball rolling. :)

All great ideas! But yes, it would if someone opened a real museum of vintage drums. There are some impressive collections out there. Maybe someday....

That's interesting. I have shipped drums all over the world but never to Ireland. Is there no interest in vintage drums in Ireland? And thanks for Joseph Rogers! Yes Sir

You almost shipped me your WFL weird prototype pedal a while ago, but you're a lousy sales man. You told me it's not for a player! Ha, just kidding you were very acurate in describing it and I'd be the same. I'd want it to to the right owner. I collect pedals, but missed out on that one. I buy and sell vintage drums in Ireland and at this stage I probably know everybody on the island who's interested and I can count them on one hand, so not a lot of interest / knowledge about old drums. We got a lot of Premier here back in day being so close to England. Premier, Olympic, Carlton, Ajax, Beverly etc. We're more familiar with this sort of thing. Dang that Rogers guy for leaving. Although Rogers were made in various factories in US I always claim them as Irish. Those are some fine quality Irish drums. :)

You could totally pull it off, but in the meantime it's awesome that you share these photos with us here. I've never even seen anything like those drum sets you have up close. Great stuff!

Now why in heaven's name has no major American or Custom drum manufacturer put this superb Pearl into their catalog? I could totally see a Ludwig Legacy Mahogany in that finish, a Gretsch USA Custom or Broadkaster, or a C&C Player Date I and II.. Beautiful kit Cooper.. And btw, i'm an amateur chef myself, took two years of school when i was in my late teens, and have made several home made pizzas ! Maybe we can exchange some recipes ? ;)

I think if you read my signature at the bottom here it says it all about my desire for some drums and some pizza:p

Nice looking stuff there Mark! Did the banjo have a connection with pawn stars, I remember something about a banjo that showed up on pawn stars once.

Thank you!

Mr. Cooper,

Fantastic Set.

There is a Rose Pearl Set with banjo post on DFO.

Is that one yours too?

I love the green.

Question.

Does any company currently make a wrap close to that lovely green.?

Thanks

I agree- Someone should re-issue the exotic pear finishes from that era. I think someone is currently working on a Sea Green replica.

Always happy to trade pizza information!
