Nice Rogers Swivomatic Bass drum pedal. I cleaned this pedal up and lightly lubricated it. Has a wooden beater. Very smooth pedal. No issues as far as I can tell. I played with it and it is as fast as you want it to be. I did not realize what nice pedals these are but really don't need it. Has the bass drum hoop attachment. I have it on the bay for a $80 buy it now auction. If a member here needs it I will take $60 dollars for it plus shipping. I think I can get it in the $10 flat rate box if I disassemble it.

Paypal only.

I learned a great lesson on this deal. Make sure you know what you have before you put a price on something. I was unfamiliar with the Rogers pedal. Always look at eBay prices to get a idea of what things are going for. I didn't realize a pedal in the shape mine goes for $100 all day without the hoop attachment. $140 to $150 with it. Plus that cork beater around another $30. So no wonder someone realized my ignorance and jumped all over it. My own fault. If you realize you are making a mistake be strong enough to say, no. I am a man of my word and stuck to the deal even though I realized I was ripping myself off. Just some advice to newbie sellers on here. I learn so much in this forum.

A newbie at 850++ postings..?

I personally have 2 exactly like yours (complete with bass clamp & wood beater) & purchased them for $75 & the other I trade a luddy speed king for the rogers..

**Its the earlier 50s/60s (22bearing) Longboard pedal that would get $100 to $150..

Not the same pedal..

I pay both / its the 22 bearings that makes a difference..

I think is was a fair deal on both sides..give or take $10..!

Value of things sometimes is relative to what someone is willing to pay at that particular time.

Ohh yes, I am fine with the deal, I just was not aware of the true value. It is fine. I am just saying , check out what you have well. Don't sell a jazz fest snare for $100 until you research it well. This was a very small deal. It actually helped me liquidate some stuff.

Some people are not aware of what they have. This probably was not a good example.

I have got some deals at a steal too. It all evens out. I'm just saying. Be aware of what you have. Don't ask ridiculous prices for stuff or undersell yourself. I just see a lot of both.

Vibes,that`s a very good point and i will be careful to make sure i understand the market.I also have (2) swivo pedals with bass clamps and square felt beaters on both and to me they are one of the most user friendly pedals ever made.The square felt beaters were really cool in the 60`s-more punch with more head contact was the idea.Good thread!

At one time two piece footboard pedals brought a bit more. However, $60 for a nice two piece is about right. I recently sold the same pedal and it sat forever and finally brought around $55. The early versions of the one piece footboard will bring over $100.
