I exchanged a number of emails with Puresound over this last August, 2012. They WERE discontinued at that time. Without any warning, without any web posting. They were removed from the website at that time.

Now, they are back up, at least the information about them. That is good. Hopefully there was enough pressure and dissatisfaction at cancelling this type wires, they decided to continue making them. For now, anyway.

August 2012, I purchased six additional sets of Dyna-Sonic wires for myself.

While going to that site, I checked out the Evans site, and they've updated the Player's Points merchandise with more items. Thought I'd point that out.

Thanks for all the imput about the vintage wires. The reason I asked about them is because something VERY wild happened last week. I had to order a set of PR1416 wires for my Slingerland Clamshell. Well, they got the unit of measurement incorrect whern picking my order. Instead of EACH they mistook it for BOX.As a result I open my package to find not 1 set of wires but 10 SETS of em. Contacted Amazon about it but heard no response. So I guess you can say I only paid $4 per set of wires.

Are you interested in selling a set to me? I have a '57 Slingerland snare with clamshell strainer.

Gone are Fibes and the two different versions for WFL. Possibly more as I can't recall all the ones they used to offer. I need a Fibes one too!
