Premier kit 1970's ?

Loading...

I am currently looking st this kit of drums to add to my collection and after looking through this site I am even more confused at what model it may be I have not got it yet so no serial numbers are available it has Trilock hardware and one Ludwig stand and a premier 252 pedal the snare is hard to see in the picture so cannot Id any help would be appreciated.

It is assembled upside down in the pic and looks rather worse for wear but something about it attracts me.

They look like Projector series . 3 ply with rerings. Those are nice, and great sounding drums. Possibly Finnish birch with beech rerings.

Bought it today for the princely sum of £106 pounds and discovered it needs a bit of

work it has slotted tensioners on the drums so it may be older than I thought I will post

some more pics for the forum in an effort to pin the model down thanks for the reply :D
