Premier Experts Wanted! Set ID. Solve the mystery once and for all! Last viewed: 4 seconds ago

I've been wanting to get to know you Premier expert guys for quite a while now because not only do I own a great looking & sounding set of Premiers, I don't know much about them and have a good number of questions for you. I finally managed a photo shoot last night. So for your perusal, relax and enjoy looking at my pics and I dare you to tell me too much about the drums. Being somewhat still new to the forum, I know us VDF guys thrive on having an avalanche of photos. Consider yourselves indulged!

And many thanks ahead of time for any of you guys who take the time to respond. Help2

More pics Premier set ID.

Score story: My barber is a fellow drummer. He knows I've taught my daughter how to play and is starting out on gigs. I feel my daughter deserves her own set of drums to take on the road as we both had gigs and had only my original set of Pearls to share. My barber one visit (this is about 10 years ago, BTW)tells me he has a friend who wants to sell a set of drums and says I should have a look. I did--and holy cow!!!! A sweet set of Premiers 13, 14, 16 and 22BD and this truly gargantuan hardware for $300 (no snare). I'm ecstatic! Score!!!! I grin all the way home---can't wait to show my daughter.

Before I found VDF, I tried to ID the set myself. No luck.

Perhaps a USA Soundwave from the late 70s? That's all I can garner from the catalog on VDF. The picture isn't all that clear.

Only the BD & FT have serial numbers. I've also always wanted to know what would have been the type of snare sold with this set. It would be on my hit list.

I have a plain ole Premier student snare with the set that I actually bought my daughter before the tip from my barber. What a foretelling!!!

What can you tell me??

Thats the Powerhouse setup...

same shells as Elite..but I think they were trying to appeal to the US market with the lugs top/bottom...instead on the long lugs on Elite.

That's a gorgeous set, including the Trilok hardware and the 252 bass drum pedal (a personal favourite of mine).

Could it be a set of resonators?

Whoda thunk? A nice Premier kit lurking in the land of the Amish? Those are nice. Something about simple white drums. Nice and thanks for sharing.

Those lugs look the same as the Beverley ones in the Beverley thread.
