I'm so glad someone who knows what it is has it now. In the condition it was in it could have easily been tossed out. Now it will be around a lot longer.

I'm curious too, did the paint chip off?

It looked really thick, and some times that can really help when it almost prys off the wrap.

So what method did you use to remove the paint and keep that wrap beautiful?

I used Motsenbockers spray graffiti remover which loosened the paint. Then i scraped it off with a single edge razor blade. You've got to be careful with this method, since it's easy to scratch or dull the surface. After removing the paint, I hit it with Novus 3 and 2, then polished it with turtle wax. All done with a oscillating buffing tool (for cars). It shines like new.
