Here's another with an interview with Jeff Ocheltree at the end.
He gives tribute to those that came before.

Crap? Jeff made the "Spirit of 2002'", made Steve Smith's snares, Carter Beauford snares, Dennis Chamber's snares (no matter what anyone one says) & was Bonzo's drum tech. I guess it's time to get bounced!...crap is what's between the ears of the retarded patriarchs of this bozo site. Jeff O has created & built some of the finest instruments on the planet for many years & continues to do so today. Amazing that there are people out their still not smart enough to use a Google search before they post idiotic comments.
Fungus is out of 'da house!
Im a faithful Google fan for sure! You can find out anything through Google, but usually when I ask a vintage drum question, the Vintage Drum Forum pops up. Thats how I found this forum yrs ago. Its hilarious when I do a google search about a vintage ludwig drum and A post on the vintage forum pops up that "I" posted!!!!! Its pretty cool. What comment are you irritated about anyway???

I take it Paiste had some import drums made that werent near as cool as the ones that Paiste made out of the bronze.....Here's a pic of the drum I saw. The red one on top.....
Poppy79424...On these Paiste drums.Paiste did sell these drum for a very shory time in 1988-89.I should know i sold them. They had three type's Trax-100,Trax-250, and Paiste. The badges on the Trax were sticker's in silver with Trax in black. On the Paiste ones badges were sticker's gold with paiste in black. The Trax ones were the low end of these drums. The lug's somewhat looked like Ludwig/Sonor type.On the Paiste ones the lugs were sq. in shape..Shells Trax were 9 ply fire wood shells with no rings, color's were,Red,Black,White, and Blue..Paiste shells were 6 ply Beechwood shells with no rings.Color's on these were Red,Black,White,Blue,Silver,Gold,All if these drums were M.I.J...Back in 1989 i got all the stock of these sets 500 in all i paid 100.00 a set.I sold the Trax ones for 250.00 a set sold the Paiste ones for 350.00 a set....I only wish i did out sell them all...Mikey
