I got a good pic of the ply layup simply by removing the bottom rim. this appears to be a 6 ply right? also took a shot of the interior and the exterior as well. haven't detailed the drum yet however.

Yarp... that's a six ply alright. Nice drum! I love that fat round-over bearing edge on those old RB's. 'That Great Gretsch Sound!' Would have been nice to find two orphans to go along with it.
