Ludwig von frankenstein kit !

Hey Gentlemen,

Just thought i'd post a pic of my newly restored mixed Ludwig kit.

The kit is made up of a Ludwig Rockers bass drum and rack tom, and Super classic floor tom circa late 80's early 90's ? Not quite sure.

Drums are wrapped in a custom wrap provided by Lumigraf Drum Wraps, here in Montreal, Canada..

The wrap is called "Burl Silver" from their "Reflexions" collection, and as you can see from the pic, gives a 3-D effect to the drums and kinda looks like a Black Diamond Pearl that's melting..

The pics don't do it justice, as i took it with my cell phone..

If you know Ringo's recent drum kits, he's had a couple that were custom wrapped from Lumigraf, along with other drummers such as Joey Kramer and "Wild" Mick Brown..

They make amazing unique one of a kind wraps to suit anyone's restoration project, but doesn't provide the classic wraps.. They started as a company who makes decorative panelling for offices and restaurants.. Amazing stuff..Check out the link below to see for yourselves.. Hope you enjoy the pics !

That wrap must look amazing under stage lights and has made a family out of some orphans-great looking set!

Thanks guys ! Plucking these drums from a probable life of obscurity and maybe even stripped for parts feels good.. Lol ! They do look stunning under lights.. I'll try and post some pics from my wk end gig..

Yes , set looks nice. I checked out all those wraps. Some of them could cause seizures there so brain teasing.
