I do, but I am no expert. Check out the sold kits on ebay for 'Ludwig White Marine Pearl Drum Set' as a guideline. 24-in, 3-ply kicks are little rare from what I've seen.

My guess is that a 3 piece like that would price about $1400-1700.

If I had to buy those drums separately as orphans, this is what I'd guess the prices would approach: $400-600 for the kick, $300-500 for the floor tom, $200-300 for the rack tom.

In any event, they seem to be very nice. The clear interiors are more desirable than the painted ones, and if that's the kit you want go for it after checking prices of comparable kits.

i dont think there are or have been many matched sets out there with a virgin bass drum, only thing keeping me from buying it right now i that serial numbers seem to be a bit high for the year wich i dont understand and 18" floor tom seems a bit too much id prefer a 16"

Tell him you're looking at some radio kings for 1500 but you'll give him 1600 for the Ludwigs. What a sweet set of drums!

Keep in mind those drums will never be made again even a reissue wont have the acoustic value of the aged wood.

Wood looses pulp over time and give it acoustic value for instruments and little value for construction. It`s a good thing bad thing depending.

Beautiful kit, but that price is a little, err..itchy.. I've seen b/o kits go for a few hundred less and were just as mint.. But if you really dig the kit, go for it

i know is a bit above what it could be but vintage is getting more expensive i have been seeing lots of superclassics going for 2500.

this is not a mahogany superclassic but still a very nice drum i think and the virgin bass drum gives it some value.
