Awesome kit and awesome sizes! If you got the cash and feel good about I don't see how you can go wrong! Are they 3 ply shells? Even better if so. I'd try to talk him down a bit because there's no snare. For $2000 there's a lot of other options I think but if this is what you want then go for it. Those are some classy looking drums!

I`m concerned about badge placement. I`m not a Ludwig guy but none of those badged dip below the lugs, I`m smelling Concert toms.

Just look into badge placement.

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!

Notice the Floor tom placement of badges on these kits. The CT badges don`t go below the lugs.

Those badges are in the correct position. Nothing to worry about there, but best to be sure before putting down that kind of money.

Is it the lug size that`s throwing me off. ?

If the toms all have large lugs I wouldn't worry about them being former concert toms. I'm sure you'll check out the interiors to see if there are any extra holes.

Those are very clean looking drums to me. I've heard that WMP's are known to crack, so look for that, and ask if they've been re-wrapped.

Regarding price, I'd guess that $2k would be top dollar for an original, unmolested 3-piece. That's just an opinionated guess.

thank you for your answers!

the seller is saying thats a one owner kit with no re wrap or changes whatsoever.

i think ill trust him on that.

you think 2k is too much?
