Ludwig Flat Base Cymbal Stand Last viewed: 17 hours ago

Loading...

I recently picked up this Ludwig stand when I purchased a vintage Slingy kit. It's got the "block" Ludwig logo stamped on it and the number 2423 stamped into the underside of the cup on the base of the stand. The base of the stand looks very much like a 60s Slingerland flat base stand. I'm trying to determine whether this particular stand was actually sold as seen in the pics or if a prior owner simply piece-mealed it together. Thanks in advance for your help!

Ludwig sold those stands with the Standard line.

Yes, this is the Ludwig Standard cymbal stand. Exact same top two sections as the famous model 1400, but with a different base, exclusive to the Standard series.

Yep, Ludwig standard stand. I have the base of one of those stands with the original feet and wing nut if anyone is interested.
