Rick
The Ludwig was on ShopGoodwill. They wouldn't ship it to Canada so I had it sent to Blaine Wa. and I will be going to Blaine this Friday........day trip....on my FlexDay...kind of fun as long as there is no boarder incidents like today. A Canadian Customs Officer was shot in the neck but will survive.
These photos are from the shopgoodwill site - very low res photos so the badge info may not be good enough. I will go to your site and post any relivant information once I have the drum...........these photos are just to tease you haha.
Thanks for all the information here Rick.
Gary,If you can, please let me know your serial number and date stamp. If the drum was on eBay recently, I likely grabbed them, but it is nice to double check. I gather several other pieces of information, a list is provided on my website - www.GretschDrumDatingGuide.com - under the "Report Your Drums" tab.I am always happy to receive reports of Ludwig drums with serial numbers and a date indicator (usually a date stamp, sometimes a date code). I collect information on Ludwigs without date stamps as well, but they are not part of my core project. Reports on any Gretsch drum with a serial number are welcomed.Thanks.Rick
