I've recently been getting into larger hi hat sizes. 15's mainly. Anyone else gradually moving away from the traditional 14 size?

I used a pair of 16" crashes once and they worked for the track and sounded pretty cool.
I am using a pair of 16" crashes right now and really digging the sound!
I JUST added a 15" pair to my Ludwigs, oh man am I loving them.
I have 3 sets of 12" hats......killers! lol
I sold my 1960's 14" Zildjian A's and kept the 13" and 15".
They're both 1960's Zildjian A's,.... love both of them !!!
I originally started out on Paiste preserial numbered 602's 15" soundedge, I also have a 14" pair I almost never play them. But my to go to or main Hats are 1976 2002 Black lettered 15" soundedge hats.
Got a pair of 15'' 2002 Sound Edge hats and I love.
I'm really digging 15's now...quickly becoming my favorite size hats. I have a few modern Zildjian pairs (K Light and A Custom...both 15s) and some vintage As and Ks in 15s. I messed around with creating some 16s as well. Cool sound too.
Atlanta how old are you just curious 14 has never been traditional for me it is all a matter of taste and likes... liken it to a fisherman they like certain lures or colors it makes them happy... i started playing in 1964 and in 1966 i got a set of 15inch zildjians I played them for 46 years I sold them a year and 1/2 ago and bought a set of paiste 2002 15 inch sound edge hats I like them too dude you play what your ears like not trends or fads your ears are your best buddy listen to them... size does not matter sound does...
