Hi fellas,Thanks for all your info and input.I bought a set of beat up Ludwigs on Kijii.I could see by the pics there was a '60s Acro. (pic of badge only).Anyway, bought them and this is the snare!!Will post pics when the clean up is done. Thanks again guys,Harry

Now, that's what I call a score! These 6 1/2 10-lug Acros fetch like $800-1,000!

A B/O badge version sold on eBAY last month for $427+. It was one of the infamous New York School Board snares.

Never play it the same way once.

Yes! That's the name I like!

I have a pre-serial '63 Acrolite with a smooth shell (non orange peel) and factory crimped snare beds! It was probably one of the first non-prototype Acros.

Hi guys,

Here are some pics of the clean up.

The original head was Ludwig but was shot.

I put on a Remo Vintage 'A' coated.

The drum is in beautiful condition.

Two scuffs on one panel and a few minor ones here and there.

Hope you like the pics.

Thanks again everyone for the info and input.

Cheers,

Harry
