Gretsch Snare Throw

Loading...

Hi All: I have a 66' Gretsch Chrome over brass and my snare throw recently broke. I am looking for a replacement, but it seems to be hard to find. If anyone has one for sale or know where I can get one, that would be great. I'm trying to keep this drum original (family heirloom), but if I have to end up putting a different one on, then I will do so, but really not wanting to drill any holes.

Thanks!

Hi and Welcome. Can you post some pics? How many lugs? I've seen many Gretsch throws for sale on ebay. Don't drill any holes!

Good luck and nice work keeping your family-snare original.

Gretsch is now reproducing the Micro-Crapitive strainer...it's a tad beefier with a locking pin on top.
