Oh it's the DW6000 series. I think Gibraltar do a version as Ludwig do these days too, I've only used the DW's. When I do Rock-Out I use 18" 19" 22" cymbals and DW's DO NOT fall over and I don't get a problem with them creeping. They do sway a little but I actually like that. They are not so good if you plan on hanging clamps of them. A cowbell would be fine, but they would be useless for a Tom. The gauge of the piping is too thin for any of my old clamps anyway.

Price wise a Cymbal stand in the UK is £70-£80.

I use a Protection Racket hardware bag, so with 3 cym stands, HH, Snare, Legs, Throne, SK pedal and my Stick bag I can literally swing the bag over my shoulder to carry it about.

Look - I could be wrong, but I don't think the ones my mate saw are out yet. He said these had an alloy bottom half and a traditional top section. He said that the snare drum stand was so light, he could "toss it in the air" Nick really knows his stuff. I'm waiting to hear any news. And yes, the old classic cymbal and snare stands are workable; but the pedal stands - I need all the help I can get. I want light, fast, smooth and modern. I use Pearl Eliminator BD pedals but they're too heavy. Also I have 4 cymbals but only one floor stand so it's got to be sturdy stuff. $0.02
