I would have expected much more for the heritage value of that kit..

I think alot of prospective bidders saw that centenial tom tom and thought that it really wasnt part of that kit and was just added. Thats what I thought.

+1On that but I still would love to have the cash for those drums.I remember sitting in my 4th grade class getting busted by Sister Mary Robertine,reading my 63 Slingerland catalog,with Krupa on the cover and that 20x20 monster floor tom on his right.

Anyone ever run across a pic of Gene playing a kit like that with a mis-matched tom?
