Many thanks John! Enjoy it.

Too good to pass up, Mike. The trigger got pulled before I even had a chance to give it a second thought. It's a beautiful, rare drum and worth every penny of what you asked for it. 'Some Acro's' are worth more than others. :D
John
PS - Hey, I just realized... now I have all three early Acro's! The orange-peel all aluminum one, this transition model I just bought from you, and my other keystone Acro (that I also got from you,) which is the model that ended up being the drum they put out as the Acrolite from then on. If I had held onto my 6.5" NYC Board of Ed snare I'd have the whole stable! J
Yep, you've got the earliest three designs of acros now. That's not an easy task by any means. I love these snares.

John...that one came from me originally! Glad to see it stay in the family.
Aaron - Mike told me in a pm that it came from you originally. Cool rice & beans, meng. :D
Now I have all three... orange peel all-aluminum, this transition model and a really clean keystone Acro that I also got from Mike. I have to tell you, every time mike posts a drum for sale I have to hide my wallet. They are always, clean, interesting drums that he prices right in the trigger-pull range every time. I always know what I'm getting from Mike and it's always first quality stuff. Mike is my bud, if he wasn't so fugly I'd kiss him. Kiss
All in the family, bro!

This is a mid-late 60's Ludwig 14x14 3ply resacote interior clubdate floor tom. I bought this as a project but found the drum I needed in the meantime. This would be perfect to rewrap to match your kit. It could also be finished and painted. Since its been unwrapped already, it also wouldn't be a crime to fill in the 12 center lug holes and drill your own for a classic floor tom, while saving a ton of money. The edges are very nice on this one. No extra holes. You just need to add the floor brackets/legs, baseball bat muffler and one tension rod. All other rods and washers are present but do not match perfectly. Has keystone badge with serial number 353351. The original grommet is also there and could be worked into shape. Chrome lugs and hoops look great. SOLD-THANKS $ 200 plus 30 insured shipping US48
This guy has this clubdate bass shell that can go with this...
All done here. Thanks to everyone that got something.
