Favorite Ludwig finish?

Burgundy Sparkle. I know it wasn't made very long, around '68 or so, but I had a 20" bass drum briefly and I was just mesmerized by the finish. Under the lights in my basement, it had an almost brownish cast to it. Of course, now the prices are up there!

I have Ludwigs in Silver Sparkle, a hybrid of 60's/70's(and the textures do NOT look close), so to look for others is a little redundant. I also have 18 kits and have run out of room.

I also love BDP, just looks cool, and any bowling ball finishes.....but NOT 70's Black Oyster.

Here's an Oyster finish that's probably pretty rare: ARCTIC OYSTER. I bought the wrap from Precision Drum two years ago and built this set over the summer of 2010. The wrap was discontinued, in fact Gary told me this was the last kit done in this wrap. I would have done a 2nd bass drum, but there was not enough. Yes, this wrap is glued, no tape at all. The accompanying snare is a Pioneer. Jumping2 Has anyone ever seen this finish on any other drums/kits?

Two classic finishes from the 60s. The good news is that they sound every bit as good as they look...otherwise no point in my view! It's mainly about playing!

I was looking high & low for Oyster Pearl and this was the only suitable thing out there I could find! (see pic) I have seen only 1 other set wrapped in this finish (on eBay) and it was actually a custom build by Precision Drum Co.(no pic)

I'll go with the blue oyster pearl and champagne sparkle. My dad has both and I grew up staring at them and just hoping to have some just like it.
