I have been useing the B.I.N. on some of my auctions.I seem to sell more drums and parts that way..My question is how do you set the B.I.N. price so the bidder pays for the item now..On all of my last auctions the bidders B.I.N. but they take a few days to pay.....Mikey

When you set up the listing there's an option for that you just have to select it.

I honestly do not know of this option. To press "Buy It Now" just means you commit to buying the item for the asked price, not actually pay for it now. They still have a 72 hours to do that. Maybe you can stipulate that the item be paid for within 24 hours or it may be re-auctioned? I believe I have seen someone stipulate this before but it was 48 hours. Might have to check with eBay on that one.

Trust me there is an option to have "buy it now" paid right away. It took me a while to find it but it's there.

When you are creating your listing, there is a box that you can click on for immediate payment for BIN listings...I believe it is in the section where you choose the type of listing you want (auction style or BIN)...This is how it is for Ebay Canada anyways...I`m not sure if the American Ebay is the same...

Cheers

I just went and looked it's a check box under the PayPal section.

Yes, you are right...I was mistaken when I said it was under the listing section...Thanks for the correction...

I just went and looked it's a check box under the PayPal section.

So you're saying that clicking on B.I.N., it will then say "thank you for your purchase"? I believe you still have to go into Paypal to pay for it, no? If that's the case, you have 72 hrs. (actually I think it's 96 hrs., 4 days.) to pay for it unless stipulated otherwise, correct?

If you select the pay immediately on PayPal for eBay, when you purchase the item a window will come up and say that seller requires immediate payment on the item. You can select it when you setup a template for your auction.

Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....
