No real heavy drum purchases but a number of trades for calf heads, old sticks, drum keys, wires and old drum pads...all very pleasurable!

I have sold my fair share of stuff on here. All great transactions! I have one transaction where I bought something and got taken by a veteran forum member. New forum members, do some research before buying on here. Like most have said, 95% folks here are golden, you just have to be careful and learn who is trustworthy. band2
I lost out in a deal with someone already mentioned, but I just put it behind me; I shoulda known better.....marko
I have had nothing but success.
We know one person that tried to take peoples money, but now he dribbles when he smiles, and has to drink all his meals. He also has a lot of trouble holding drum sticks now.. Hurting
This thread has just confirmed something I had been wondering.
Glad I checked it out!
My past dealings have been great!
I say if someone is skeptic of buying from someone on here, just post a thread asking about the potential deal! Any seller worth his salt wouldn't be afraid of a public query.
example: "I am considering buying a snare off of JoeBLOW. Anyone have any dealings with this gentleman? Thanks!"
I like to think we are stand up gents here at the VDF and nobody should be afraid of public questions surrounding their forum transactions. Matter of fact, if it is the norm to have guys post before buying, there probably wouldn't be much in the way of shenanigans going on, how could there be? Anyone can feel free to ask anything relating to buying/selling on a thread about me, no sweat. I got no issue with that whatsoever.

Handful of transactions. One minor problem that the seller quickly fixed. One other shipping delay. Overall positive.
