Newbie here...with lots of questions. Can anyone help with this snare? I plan on selling this item and I would like to represent it properly. I understand this is a rare bird here. I am not sure how to measure or describe this item in drum collector terms. the calf skin 13" & the shell 15" & the depth is 8" deep. The badge throws me off..for it has a patent # & a patent reissue number. I understood this drum was from the 30's. Is there anyway to tell exact age? Please advise. Help2 what kind of money range is this item valued. Where is the best place to sell it? Thanks!guitar3

It's a Duplex Spirit of St. Louis Model...Somewhat scarce, there are a few out there in different finishes like Butterscotch Pearl and StipelgoldArtgold hardware that are rarer....you'll get a good price to the right buyer/collector...good luck.
