Great site! I really like the layout.
Concert Tom site ready to see! Last viewed: 4 hours ago
Great to see you include Chico Hamilton's Gretsch among the others. The floor toms sizes were unusual for the times: 12x14 and 18x14.
Nice Site, a good read.. good job & thanks for the link.
Cheers

Once I get my set I'll do a whole photo story on it for you if you want?
Excellent site bermuda!
I'm very pleased to see you have the good taste to present your drums set up near the pool! Jump For Joy
Very cool Bermuda! I never saw the Money for Nothing/Hillbillies video prior to today and as usual you guys nailed it. Also, pretty neat photo gallery on your other site showing your progress a few years at a time.
I just saw this thread while looking for some info on an old concert tom kit I will taking a look at this weekend.
I already have an old Vistalite concert tom kit that I bought used in the early 80's - 24, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18 FT. I rarely play it though.
Great stuff Bermuda!
Dennis St John's Cutaway kit is just fantastic looking. I bet they sound pretty good too.
I recently saw a pic of one of your old sets. Those North toms were very stylish, but I've never heard how they sound.
Thanks for the gallery Bermuda.
Can't wait to see you guys again here in Southern Oregon.
(very short drum solo)
Hmmm, you saw a pic of my North kit? The red one?? I don't recall ever posting that... people often mistake my Impact cutaway toms for North drums, but they're quite different.
Bermuda
I ordered two concert toms in 1974 for my Slingerland Red Tiger pearl set.
I got a letter from Slingerland saying that they have discontinued Red Tiger and suggested I get solid red. (blah)
I looked for years...I've found tons of Red Tiger toms, but never concert toms.
A couple years ago, at the Chicago show, a guy had a pair with a complete set, but wouldn't separate them. I figured at least I saw them and my long quest was complete.
Then, last year ago, a buddy in Michigan called me and asked if I wanted some Red Tiger concert toms.
So, it only took 38 years to find them.
