Thanks Lucky. That's another thing I like about the Jazz Catalina's. Easy set up and breakdown. I am in no way suggesting these are on par with Vintage Ludwigs,Gretsch, or anything like that. I am just saying your getting the most bang for the buck and a nice set that sounds decent and looks good on stage. Something you won't worry about hauling around. and they are really fun to play. I have the smaller Sonor Safari kit and they are a blast. I am 6' 2 1/2" 190lbs and I look like Gullivers Travels on drums. I use them every other Wed when our band plays this tiny little tiki bar stage. our bass player is like, "dang those drums are loud". that 16" kick drum is a little canon.
