I'm laughing so hard I almost hit my head on my Original Triumphal snare being held up by 1 dozen super 400's!!!...... HOW YOU DOIN JOHNNY RINGO!
No, but it gives it a historic value and in my book that's much more relevant than a kit just being rare.
Umm...a kit having been played by a famous drummer simply makes it rare ~for a different reason~ than low prod numbers/pristine condition, no? Or possibly unique, which is simply the rarest of rare...

Hi Steve,
Impressive Camco kit with an equally impressive sale price. Would an equivalent era Gretsch kit have a similar price tag?
"Depends on condition and color. $12,000-$15,000 if all original and really clean." Steve Maxwell
FYI
No the Gretsch cannot have a higher price....it can't.....thats the way it is
Well maybe if it is in as spectular condition.... Maybe the camco went a little cheaper because Steve knew the guy and owed him a favor?
No matter what you an Ringo wouldnt know a RB GRETSCH FROM A KENT, YOU 2 ARE JUST LIKE KIDS!

Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp
once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
