Camco Catalog scan

From vibes

Not iPad friendly. I will try it on my PC laptop.

Tough crowd over here. I was only trying to do a service in the easiest way possible to share this relatively rare Chanute era Camco catalog. I thought when I was scanning each page in hi-res, then transferring to my laptop and then uploading to a free file hosting site, that other drummers would appreciate it. :Santa:

Thank you. I sincerely appreciate it. We are not a tough crowd really. My Flare ? I am dieing to see this. I have some Chanute Camco drums and I am trying to figure out what kit mine are. I have a virgin 14"x22" bass drum and curious to know which sets those came with. We all appreciate your efforts ! Don't know what my problem is ? I think with my laptop I have a older browser and it can't be updated in Win XP. My iPad keeps trying to download it but when it gets close to the end it refreshes and starts all over. I am sure this would be a great catalogue to include with the others they have in the section of vintage drum catalogues on here if one of the mods could put it on there. On iPad it takes you to the app page to download the my flare. Below it, it try's to download it but right at the end it says a problem occurred with this web page and will reload. Endless cycle.

Thanks again, I will keep trying. I guess I could install the app. Or if anyone has any other ideas, or can send it to me.

Hmmm... this thing is 108 plus MB. I think I can put it on a cloud storage if that would make it easier for the tablet folks. I had no issues at all using a desktop...

The cloud thing would be accessible via a link, like a webpage. Once there, you just save the file.

Let me know...

Sheesh. If you can't get this on your desktop, the problem is with your desktop.

Well, it works fine for me, hit the Download button and it's downloading.

Thanks for going to the trouble of scanning it and putting it up on a hosting site. Just the illustration of how to fold up the Camco kick pedal (of which I have a couple of early DW5000 versions) is wonderful.

Priceless prose: "The heartbeat and uniting force of group music is the cadenced expression of a quality drum ensemble."

I notice that all of these old catalogs indicate that the drum outfit comes with a pair of sticks. I'll bet they were all branded with the manufacturers' names.

I wonder how many survive, if any. It would make a fun photo collection.

Some folks collect 'em. I've never seen a Camco labeled set of sticks, but I've seen others; Ludwig, Slingerland, Rogers, Gretsch, Premier, and a set of brushes that were labeled Hayman. Lots of Pearl's. Just off the top of my head anyway.

I shared it on Google Drive at the request of a couple folks. The link is above. Try it and let me know if you can't get it.
