JohnnyRingo! 9 years old when you first heard the Beatles. How the heck are you reeling in the years? Man, you look way younger than that. I was 10, and I sure have aged more than you! You not only have hair, but it's still black!!!!Laughing H

Cool vids Tommy! I have too laugh too, because Fly Me to the Moon was on our set list this year. List is all over the place, but i enjoyed that one and Dean Martin's Sway.I bet you'd love to do some of Frank's tunes with a full orchestra so you could really let loose!

Dan!

Yeah... thing is, I DO get to let loose on a lot of the charts, as there has been three years to REALLY get inside each arrangement. In the early going, you're still feelin' your way through getting the time/hits/feel right, but after you get really comfortable, that's when so much more can be done, yet still remain TRUE to the style/arrangement. I actually patterned my approach by listening a LOT to Sinatra's long time drummer: Irv Cottler. Now though, it's a combination of Irv Cottler with MORE flavor. We do "Fly Me To The Moon" and "Sway" in the show. We do the Michael Buble version of "Sway" though, as it's a bit more contemporary. Interestingly...

... we are booked into the Hartford Infinity Music Hall this January 17th, 2015... 8:00pm. The talk right now is that it's going to be filmed/recorded. If that does indeed happen, I'll have some NEW clips up on the site!

Well thank you, I get that a lot and yes I still have hair, but truth be known, I started going grey in my late twenties. I personally have made Clairol a very profitable company.LoLoLoLo
