I'm on my way to my first Blaemires! Can't tell you how excited I am. Been waiting awhile for these. Thanks all for the well-wishes.

Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly...

John:

I had a set of Blaemires, fine drums. I would have kept them except they were concert toms, and I've never liked concert toms. Those things were built. Best of luck with these!

It's always exciting when these rare drums come to surface. They don't come around very often.

Man, tell me about it! I'm working with Jerry to get a natural finish snare drum added to the kit. I'll keep you guys posted how it all goes. I'm really excited at finally getting my own Blaemires. x-mas3

... and I still want a Jenkins/Martin kit!!! Future 'vintage treasures' for sure.

Look out, Hal Blaine, there's a new kid on the block!

Fish - That was one of the things that made me pull the trigger... reso heads on all drums! I'm not too crazy about concert toms either, so this is a double whammy to make me commit and pull the trigger.

John,

When you get these.............

Are you going to join our "crazy, fiberglass, stripping, scraping, sanding, dust club" and strip the wrap off of those?

Let us know what color the shells are.

70's, most likely all green.

I hope the transaction goes well.

You're a pi$$er! LOL Next time I go to the track, I'm taking you with me! I just now wrote a note to Jinx asking him about that very thing! Black vinyl? What was Al thinking? If there's green glass under there, you can bet the farm that black crap is coming right off!

I'm really psyched...
