Wow those are awesome shelves . Nicely done sir ! And the snares are not too shabby either . Like that need to be said . Thank you for posting the pics I appreciate it .

Warning ... Avoid member statuscymbal here, vintage_collector on DFO , and americanpatriot10 on eBay. Email me for his name. All are the same shady guy who has burned me and a list of other members on both boards . He is also selling on Facebook too ..

Mike: I sincerely hope that you are somewhere in the San Francisco area that does not get those terrible earthquakes.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

W/ my meagre collection my wife calls me a "hoarder" (well, this includes books & whatever else I use for business - especially boxes & packaging material).

What's your wife collect, Mike? Chits for every and all household duties - Chris

I live 23 miles south of SF but the whole SF Bay Area is "earthquake country"...our home is on solid rock (bedrock) so we may be a tad better off as our neighbors barely felt the '89 earthquake. I do have a cord running left to right at the back of each shelf and each drum is individually hooked to the cord so the forward motion is prevented while the sides of each shelf stop the sideways motion....at least it's not "Tornado Alley"...I hate to see my 580 snare drums floating around the SF Bay Area, now that would suck.

Wow Mike!

I know a guy who you bought a Peacock Pearl Ludwig snare from about 10 years ago or so, we joke it about it all the time as I still collect gear here and there but he's since totally out. I think it might be in that group of 4 emerald pearl looking snares, but aren't peakcock pearl wraps kind of lavender in color?

I'd hate to see your insurance bill too! :)

Thanks for posting those pictures...

Found it!!

Mike, you should sell tickets and give tours. I'd pay to see your collection.
