hi long time lurker here,i only have one kit, don't buy and sell, don't know much about vintage drums, but love to look at all the beautiful kits on here and read about them, anyway this drum isn't vintage, not sure of a date, mid 80's-mid 90's? The lugs, strainer, and butt are Legend,Ive read very good quality that Kaman drums sourced from Asia, but don't know much else except this snare is Bubinga stave 5/16" 14x5 made by Exotic Drum Co. in U.S.A., just wondering if anyone has any more info, the Exotic website is defunct and probably since the 90's?,this snare is in almost brand new condition,no pitting, rust, the staves are solidly glued and it sounds great, not harsh at all,and fairly sensitive..anyway thanks for any light that you can shed on this. Mike

Yes. It was a company back in the 80's and early 90's. It went out of business but it's now back but not the same owners, They are on facebook. The originals are great made drums.
