I've always thought North and Staccato drums were interesting designs, and will get you noticed on stage, but I think he hit an extra key when he was entering his price!

That is the kind of price you put on an item that you really don't intend to sell.

Anybody here ever play one of these snares?

Did having the snares closer the bass drum cause more buzz? Did this design make it harder to position your hi hat stand and/or tom stand?

A friend of mine has one in almost perfect condition. He got it off of Ebay a few years ago for $500. It looks cool but the sound is weird. The angle makes the snare project aWAY from the drummer making it difficult to hear when playing it on a set. $6500? Reminds me of that Supertramp song . . . "Dreamer, Nothing But A Dreamer"

He is just fishing for a sucker this drum is a train wreck , i think the real value of this mess is 2 to $350 at best, if it were to be found in mint condition the price could go high but not crazy! money like that.
