60's Acrolite Badge Help! Last viewed: 20 hours ago

What do the lug washers look like in the inside? Are they the cylindrical ones found on the pre-1965ish ones? Is the tone control hole drilled for a BB muffler or is it the small hole for a round knob? (Obviously it has a round knob in the photo, but sometimes folks put a washer over the hole so they can use a round knob instead if the BB type..)

The reason I ask is that it could indeed be 1969-70 (drilled for the new B/O badge) but they actually did put a serial number-less badge on it. There are quite a few serial number-less B/O badged drums fro the 1969-70 era. And, I believe I have seen a late 60s drum or two with a no serial KB (a supra I think).

The washers are the cup style. The tone control was definitely drilled for the round knob - small hole. No date stamp on the inside. The grommet looks unmolested. This seems to get stranger and stranger. Another little tidbit - the throwoff and butt plate are nickel plated.

Could you post a few pics? I'm fairly certain it's a 1969-ish.

I'm getting pretty certain that you're right. I'll grab some pics and post them.
