Cool observation. Could you explain what a cutoff B/O badge looks like? I have never heard that before.

I just watched the video again, and I'm mistaken, the badge is a full one. BTW, this is the kit he played when I saw them at the "Fabulous Forum", in Los Angeles in 1977.

Well I had to resurrect this thread because I need some imput on a very odd looking stainless kit that is currently listed on e-bay. While his heading says it's from the 60's we know that is wrong. But this kit is certainly an odd ball. At least to me. It seems to be a factory single head kit. Thats right. Although single headed toms "concert toms" are quite common I have never seen single headed stainless Bass drums and floor toms. They apear to have no holes drilled for bottom heads. Your thoughts and comments?

Doesn't it look like there are holes Inside the shells, I'll take a look at the ebay auction and see if we can figure this monkey out?

I contacted the seller and he sent this response. He also says it was a special order....very cool.

Thanks Jinx! The plot thickens. But a couple of things don't jive. Maybe this photo shows more clearly that there are no holes drilled on the bottom of the floor toms

A little too 70's for my tastes V2K. The concert toms I could deal with, but single headed Bass drums? I don't know. Very interesting kit though. I love oddities. Now the question. If you had them would you put bottom heads on them?
