With at one time both used the very same exact kit one set up righty the other lefty. Bonham, was more of everything paice Isn't. I like paice but he took himself to seriously for my taste! when he coined himself worlds greatest drummer???? Bonham, has No equal!

Wicked...hey when did Paice say that?

Not going to get into who was better Bonham or Paice. Lovem both! Both are Giants in my opinion. V>2K I think you have Ian Paice mixed up with Ginger Baker. If you have ever heard Ian Paice talk he is very humble. I'm certain he would never claim to be "worlds greatest drummer" And while were talkin tech Paice used a 12"x16" Rack tom on his Silver Sparkle Ludwig kit. It looked like a giant tuna fish can Ha Ha.

Hey V>2K great link to not so modern drummer. That guy has some collection! Although his info about the kit he bought being a Pro Beat was totally wrong. A Pro Beat set up is a 14"x24" bass drum 9"x13",10"x14" Toms 16" and 18" floor toms.
