1967 Ludwig 1967 Ford Last viewed: 59 minutes ago

1967 Ludwig Deluxe Classic in Sky Blue Pearl (13/16/22 5x14supraphonic )

1967 Ford Fairlane 500 in Brittany Blue. (289 2v V8, c4auto)

I've been wanting to photo these two together, so today after work I swept the cobwebs away from the "fräulein" and lugged the tubs out and set them up in front of her.

I also tried to see if I could fit the set in the trunk (I would NEVER travel like this) but the kick kept the trunk from closing. Guess that's why they made the New Yorker sets with the 12x22 bass.

Awsome! Love the car and the kit both. There is a 63 Impala for sale near me, 4 door but still, I thought gee if I was in a band that would be a cool ride to transport my drums. The Blues Mobile! Thanks for taking the time to set up and take the pics, very cool!

Thank you!

Oh I would LOVE to have a 390, 428, 427 in this but it is a survivor and just shoehorning an FE in there wouldn't be proper. Not to mention having to swap the trans, axle, suspension ect.

'67 seems to be the magic year for me, both cars I've owned ( falcon and fairlane), my classic deluxe, and I'm working on putting together an orphan downbeat set in sparkle blue so far each shell is from 1967.

If you don't worry about total originality but want the 289 still, you could upgrade to 271hp 4v.....just keep the original parts.

Wow, that is so cool. I had a 1965 Ford Fairlane from the time I was 17 until I was 21. Wrapped it around a telephone pole. Great car . Was a four door though. It ran great. That kit looks good too. I like the front muffler. Just got one and going to use it in my Slingerland bass. It rings just a little much on the reso.

Yep being a survivor it's best to keep it original. My last classic car was a 68 Mercury Cougar XR7 with a 390 4v-C6-Equa-loc rear. Super rust free and it came from So-Cal. Had to sell it last year when I lost my job. I was building a 427 tunnelport for it. Had a lot of $$$ wrapped up in that one. FE engine is my favorite been tinkering with those since I was 16. I always wanted a 63 Galaxie so maybe someday~!

Yep it all started with my dads '64 Galaxie 500XL 390 4v which was traded in on a new '72 XR7 Cougar ( mistake IMO ) my moms grocery go getter was a beat up '66 fairlane 4 door, this car is kind of tribute to that, but a 2 door sedan, not a fastback.
