I just saw that! This shows how little I know about pre-1920's drums. If that catalog date is correct, that is really early for a swivel nut lug. If anyone knows for certain that it's a 1914 catalog, that would be great.However, Harry Cangany's book "Great American Drums" shows the Multi Model as beginning in 1920.

I think maybe that was first beaded shell. Are there pics of the 1920 drum? If so, check for beads. Yeah 1914 would put Leedy way ahead with both swivel nuts and flanged hoops.

Yes, that's why that date (1914) seemed too early. Here is a photo of an early 20's (I think) Multi-model. Also, another slightly later version. Notice the difference in lug design.
