An appeal for assistance Last viewed: 9 hours ago

Loading...

I have a problem and I hope some of the VDF people here can help me.

I have a medical condition that requires surgery, but I am unemployed and have no insurance or funds to cover the many necessary expenses. Plus, while I’m recovering, I will miss several gigs with my band, which is my only source of any income.

The band is doing a benefit for me, but I wanted my friends here at VDF to be able to contribute if you’d like. Some of you may have already done so, and I appreciate it more than I could ever express here.

Those of you who know me, will attest that I am an honest person, and wouldn’t even consider this appeal if it wasn’t necessary.

I know times are hard for many of us right now, but any amount would be GREATLY appreciated, and can be mailed to: PO Box 1174, Lincoln, CA, 95648, or can be sent to PayPal at joembennett52@att.net.

Thank you in advance.

You meet all the basic requirements for the Federal Medicaid Program; unemployed, no insurance, and in need of immediate medical attention. Apply at your local State offices. Your case and cases like yours is why the federal aid program exists. Tuck your pride in your back pocket and apply for assistance. If you worked hard all your life, some of your money went into funding the program. Now -you- need it. Nothing to feel ashamed about. Get the medical attention you need.

I'll keep a good thought for you.

John

Too many great drums to list here!
