Ringo's obp kit Last viewed: 1 minute ago

I still think the estimate is way low. Any Rogers guy will tell you the Swiv-o-matic mount alone is worth 10 million to a guy stuck with the the stock mount on his OBP set-up. This way here you don't have to drill any extra holes. It is already done. No guilt at all in that.

Gotta love the history behind that iconic kit. There's a 1966 Ludwig oyster black pearl kit up for sale on ebay at the moment. No affiliation with the seller, kingsmusic.

Hope Mr. Star does well. Can't help but wonder what Mr. Watts kit would bring if'n he decided to part with same.

But this one still has the rail mount (the first set never got switched over to a swivo like the other three did) so you can knock 10 mill off the total. Or maybe add even more since this is the only authentic OBP Beatle set with no extra holes.

Wow!!! imagine owning the set that "I Want To Hold Your Hand" was recorded on, the song that launched a million people to get drum sets and learn how to play....I was one of them!!

Not bad and works out to about $11k for each performance. When used in those days, imagine how much it earned Ringo on each gig!

In the aggregate, Jim Irsay probably paid more to buy the drums than Ringo earned on all of the live performances (not including recordings) those drums were used on put together.
