Re-Wrapped my Rocker Kit Last viewed: 4 hours ago

Loading...

About a month ago I got a Ludwig Rocker kit....it was red but I wanted something a little different than a solid color. I got this wrap off of ebay for around $100 shipped and it was pre-cut with adhesive tape installed. The color is turquoise sparkle...very cool color :)

They look great! So is that wrap pretty

nice? It looks good in the pics. Is it thick or a good quality? I was looking at the candy apple red sparkle for on

e of my sets.

Great job, and they look fantastic.

I used the same stuff, in red sparkle, for rewrapping my Rocker II kit a couple years ago. I didn't have the badges to reinstall. The wrap is clearly not the same as Delmar, but it was easy and worked well for me. The sparkle is better than my camera can capture, and I've done 50-60 gigs with these with no issues. The snare, BTW, is an original wrap Ludwig Standard that I picked up later on.

thanks! I love this color :)

It seems to be a good quality wrap and is decently thick. I think it should hold up nicely. I wrapped this over the existing drum wrap and the only issue I had was that the heads didn't want to seat all the way. So, I had to cut the wrap just below where the head seats completely. What was a huge plus to me is that they cut them for your drums...they even did the .5" strip that goes around the bass drum hoops.
