Rare Ludwig drum you don't see.... Last viewed: 15 minutes ago

Anything is possible. We have to keep in mind that there are more people out there who don't care about rare vintage drums than there are who do care about them. We are all on this tiny little moon orbiting around a much bigger planet! Some of us get them and dust them off and adopt them for awhile. Others, get them, rip them into their component parts and try to convert them into as much money as possible. Still others throw them into the dump. We can't win 'em all!

Hopefully, someone will keep the drum as-is and enjoy it.

You know...that size drum would indicate a marching band -like a school. And, IF that's the case, then I wonder if there are other "school" drums that match??? Maybe a little detective work is in order? electricit

I have never taken the covering off a perfect drum to recover snares, but I know 2 well known drum collecting brothers in Missouri that did that with a rare finish single tension Ludwig from the 20's.

Thats where I got the idea!
